Rahim is a sweet little shy boy living with his father in the costal area. Rahim’s father is a butcher. After his mother’s death, Rahim was all alone and he forgot to laugh and play like the other children of his age. He would always keep complaining to his father that he was all alone and did not have any one to play with (brother/sister) or share his feelings. One day while coming back from the market of another village after buying the goats,(one day prior to ID) One of the goats delivers a male goat on the way back home , co-incidently the moon appears in the sky and there were sounds of people wishing each other “Id Mubarak”. Rahim’s father called the new born as “farishta” (angel sent by god/Allah) Rahim is very happy to see the new born KID(baby of goat) and thanks “Allaah” for giving him such a wonderful company . Rahim’s father tells him that his mother has sent a brother for him from heaven. Rahim is overjoyed to hear this and takes the ‘ kid’ as his brother, he started taking care of the ‘kid’ just like a mother does for her own child. Both(the kid and Rahim) are growing up together happily. The Kid(goat) gets admission in the school,Rahim n goat wins the rally race in inter school competition at Zilla level n they get famous . mean while goat sees some anti social activity by the bank of the bay,unfortunately one of the persons sees the goat watching and catches him. Some how Rahim rescue his brother.
One fine day the surpunch of the village comes to Rahim’s father asking for the ‘kid’ required for the ritual of sacrifice during his son’s marriage. Rahim’s father is in a dicy situation, whether to sell/give the ‘kid’ to the sirpanch or not . if he does not give away the ‘kid’ to the Spirant, he cannot repay the favour done by surpunch to him after his wife’s death. On the other hand, if he gives him away, he will be destroying Rahim’s -happiness. At first Rahim’s father refuses to give the ‘kid’ but when the surpunch threatens him of taking away everything that Rohm’s father has in order to meet the day-to-day expenses, he decides to give away the kid, thinking ahead for the future, as the surpunch is ready to wave of the loan instead.
Rahim is left all alone again, Rahim who is a shy boy (not very bold enough) gather’s courage to revolt against the surpunch in order to release his brother (the kid) In the process he builds/makes many friends who are ready to help him. After a few attempts, he is successful in rescuing the ‘kid’ and is very happy to do so.
Then people of village come to know who was behind the anti social activity. Surpunch the idol personality for villager was the terrorist indeed.police arrests him. Again reward goes to rahem n goat the heros of story.
Despite Rahim’s shy nature, he gather’s courage to rescue the ‘kid’ by giving other ‘s a lesson that such kind of sacrifices are blind-faith, Instead one should be kind enough to animals,human beings and spread happiness all over (Kindle the light of love),
